This ‘oh so simple’ dish is packed full of protein, iron and goodness. Served with basmati rice and flat breads it is a perfect supper, or serve as part of a ‘Thali’ or vegatarian indian feast. Dahl is the dish that just keeps giving – the next day it will have thickened further and require letting down with more stock or water. The flavours will have developed wonderfully overnight and will feed you all over again!
